Tim Hortons launches its first ‘Boat-Thru’ in Cottage Country & offers free drinks

Tim Hortons drive-thru is something most Canadians are familiar with, but what if you could order at Tim Hortons using a different mode of transportation, specifically a boat?

To better picture it, you can head to this small rural area in Ontario and experience Tim Hortons’ “Boat-Thru” service on Lake Scugog.

Tim Hortons will be hosting the “Boat-Thru” experience for only 2 days: Saturday, August 5th, to Sunday, August 6th.

The activity is designed for boaters and canoeists, allowing them to enjoy Tim Hortons with a limited drink menu. However, it’s all completely free! One thing to note is that you are limited to six beverages per boat, so there won’t be any large cruise ships carrying dozens of passengers here. The exact location of Tim Hortons’ “Boat-Thru” on the lake is at Beacon Marina, 3 Marina Drive in Caesarea, Ontario, and it will be open from 10 am to 4 pm.
